Binky Bunny woke up in her soft, cozy bed,
Yawning and stretching, she raised her sleepy head.
The sun was shining, the birds chirped “Good day!”
And Binky knew it was time to play.
One hop, two hops, into the green,
In her garden, the prettiest you’ve ever seen.
She saw Mr. Snail slowly sliding by,
Binky waved “Hello!” and the snail “Hi!”
Three hops, four hops, into the wood,
Binky found a squirrel, collecting as he could.
“Squirrel,” she said, “Can I help you there?”
And together they gathered, showing care.
Five hops, six hops, to the river’s bend,
Ducklings were swimming, around the bend.
“Ducklings,” Binky called, “Can I join the fun?”
And they splashed and played, under the sun.
Seven hops, eight hops, back to her home,
Tired from playing, no more to roam.
Mama Bunny was waiting, with carrot stew,
Binky ate heartily, saying, “Thank you!”
Nine hops, ten hops, to her cozy bed,
It was time for Binky to rest her head.
Mama kissed her goodnight, turned off the light,
And Binky dreamed of her hoppy delight.
So, little listener, under the night’s dome,
Dream of Binky and her lovely home.
Hop, skip, play, and be kind,
And a day full of joy, you will find.
From morning’s light to evening’s star,
Adventure is never very far.
Just like Binky, you’ll hop, you’ll play,
And that’s how you make a wonderful day!
The end.
