How our stories come together
Most of our stories start with a small idea—a funny character, a bedtime moment, an emotion or something children may know from everyday life. From there, we decide who the story is for, how long it should be and where the adventure will go.
Once the story is written, we read it again, smooth out the language and make sure it feels natural when read aloud. We also choose illustrations that help children follow the story and enjoy the world around it.
Meet Jany and Erika
Hi, we’re Jany and Erika. We write the stories and look after Naratopia together.
Jany writes as Fabel. He likes turning small ideas into characters and story worlds, and he also takes care of the technical side of Naratopia.
Erika writes as Belfa. She works on stories, illustrations and the overall look of the website, with a close eye on color and detail.
