Stories made with imagination, care and a human touch
Welcome to Naratopia, an independent storytelling project created by Jany and Erika Kohut. We publish original fairy tales, bedtime stories, poems and printable activities designed to help children enjoy reading, explore emotions and let their imagination grow.
Our goal is simple: to create warm, memorable stories that families can read together. Whether a child needs a calm story before sleep, a brave character for a difficult day or a playful adventure for the afternoon, we want every visit to Naratopia to offer something meaningful.
What you can find on Naratopia
- Original stories and fairy tales for different ages, interests and reading times.
- Gentle bedtime stories created for quiet shared reading.
- Stories about emotions and everyday experiences, including friendship, kindness, courage and starting school.
- Illustrated stories and printable activities that encourage creativity away from the screen.
- Helpful filters for choosing a story by age, reading time, character, emotion, genre or topic.
How our stories are created
Naratopia is created and curated by real people. We develop story ideas, select the themes and characters, and review every story before it is published. We look for clear language, a child-friendly tone, a satisfying beginning and ending, and a positive reading experience for children and parents.
We use modern creative tools, including artificial intelligence, to support brainstorming and illustration. These tools assist our process, but they do not replace our editorial judgement. The final stories and images are selected, edited and cared for by us.
Meet the creators

Jany is Naratopia’s co-founder, storyteller and technology enthusiast. With a background in law and marketing and a long-standing passion for IT, he brings together structured thinking and a love of imaginative worlds. His stories often begin late at night, when a small idea turns into a new character, place or adventure. Away from Naratopia, he enjoys running, surfing and video games with friends.

Erika is Naratopia’s co-founder, storyteller and visual curator. She holds an MBA and brings warmth, humour and a strong sense of colour to the project. She shapes the visual character of Naratopia and creates stories intended to uplift, entertain and inspire. Nature, animals, books and conversations with friends are among the everyday sources of her ideas.
A note for parents and caregivers
We aim to keep Naratopia welcoming, imaginative and suitable for family reading. Because every child is different, we provide information such as recommended age, reading time, topic and emotional theme whenever possible, so adults can choose the right story for the moment.
We believe every child deserves a story that makes reading feel magical.
