Stories for parents and caregivers to read aloud to children
Naratopia helps parents, caregivers and other responsible adults find bedtime stories, fairy tales, poems, coloring pages and printable activities to share with children. Our stories are written for children to enjoy while an adult reads aloud and guides their time on the website.
How our stories come together
Most of our stories start with a small idea—a funny character, a bedtime moment, an emotion or something children may know from everyday life. From there, we decide who the story is for, how long it should be and where the adventure will go.
Once the story is written, we read it again, smooth out the language and make sure it feels natural when read aloud. We also choose illustrations that help children follow the story and enjoy the world around it.

Jany Kohut
Co-founder and writer, Fabel
Jany likes turning small ideas into characters and story worlds. He also takes care of the technical side of Naratopia.
Erika Kohut
Co-founder and writer, Belfa
Erika works on stories, illustrations and the overall look of the website, with a close eye on color and detail.
Glenn Francis F. Faelnar
Contributing writer
Glenn is a writer from the Philippines who works across several genres, with a particular interest in crime and mystery. His short fiction has appeared in Daily Science Fiction, Friday Flash Fiction and Flash Fiction North, and in anthologies published by Murderous Ink Press and Red Cape Publishing. He also writes children’s stories for Naratopia.

Find the right story for your child
Parents and caregivers can choose stories by the child’s age, reading time, favorite characters, emotion, genre or topic. Age labels are guides for adults choosing a read-aloud, not instructions for children to browse alone. Preview a story, choose a comfortable pace and pause for your child’s questions. An adult should handle comments, contact forms, subscriptions, accounts and purchases.
