This is Gigi the giraffe. Gigi has a long neck and a little red motorcycle.

Gigi loves her motorcycle. Every morning, she washes it and gives it a gentle pat.

Gigi climbs onto her motorcycle. Vroom, vroom! Off she goes!

Gigi rides around the trees. The wind tickles her ears. Wheee!

Beside the road stands Bimbo the little elephant. His blue car goes, “Pff… pff…” and will not move.

Bimbo begins to cry. “My car is broken!” Gigi squeezes the brakes. Screeech!

“Don’t worry, Bimbo. I’ll help you!”

Gigi takes out a rope. One end goes on the motorcycle and the other on the car. All done!

Vroom, vroom! The motorcycle pulls, and the little car rolls behind it. Hooray!

Up the hill… and down the hill! Gigi loves her motorcycle.

Here is the garage. Danny the bull is a good old mechanic. “Show me, little elephant. What is troubling your car?”

“It will take a little while,” says Danny. “You can wait outside.”

A pink ice-cream cart stands in front of the garage. Veronica the flamingo calls, “Ice cream! Who would like an ice cream?”

Bimbo chooses peanut ice cream. “Yum! That’s my favourite!”

Gigi wants strawberry, chocolate, vanilla… and one more scoop! An ice cream as tall as her neck!

They sit on a bench. They lick, laugh, and talk. Now they are all friends.

Brrrum! The car is fixed! Veronica gives Danny a raspberry ice cream. “Thank you, friends!”

Vroom, brrrum! Gigi and Bimbo drive slowly home. The sun is going to sleep.

Gigi parks her motorcycle beneath a tree. She strokes it and whispers, “Goodnight, motorcycle. I love you.”

Gigi lies down in the grass and yawns. Yaaawn. Goodnight, Bimbo. Goodnight, Gigi. The End.
