Careful Nibbles gathers nuts while playful Skippy dances through autumn. When winter snow arrives, the squirrel brothers learn that work, play, forgiveness, and sharing all belong in the same cozy hollow.
Crunching leaves, puddles, chestnuts and early evenings shape these autumn bedtime stories. Rainy and Raina tumble from their cloud into a bright fall day, while Nina and Timo discover that the season offers more than the summer they miss. Mice decorate a cosy oak-tree home for Halloween, and two squirrel brothers prepare for the first snow in very different ways. The collection moves from lively outdoor play to warm indoor endings, with stories about change, preparation, friendship and noticing the season around you.
